There’s exciting news this year for our Transalp: For 2026, we’re adding our revolutionary E-Clutch, making an already super-versatile bike even better, both on-road and off. The Transalp has long been a legend in Europe for the way it combines power, smoothness, off-pavement capability and comfort. And now adding E-Clutch minimizes chances of stalling in challenging terrain, enables clutchless up- and downshifts everywhere, and still gives you the total control of a handlebar-mounted clutch lever. You’ll even be able to spin the rear wheel off-road when you need to! Like ABS, it’s there when you need it and non-intrusive when you don’t. A new skid plate this year and adjustable front and rear suspension damping are also nice bonuses. Where will you ride yours first?

Honda E-Clutch
Unique to Honda, E-Clutch takes riding to the next level. Choose manual clutch control of the six-speed gearbox, or activate E-Clutch via the TFT screen and ignore the lever. That’s it. From pulling away to shifting and stopping, just use the gear lever – E-Clutch handles the rest, smoothly and instantly, like a pro. You can’t stall. Traffic’s easier. And if you want to use the clutch? Go right ahead.
755cc Parallel Twin Cylinder Engine
The 755cc parallel twin-cylinder engine is built for performance, with a peak output of 67.5kW at 9,500rpm and 75Nm of torque at 7,250rpm. This combination offers smooth, powerful performance across all types of rides.
The real magic is in how it delivers. Air vortex intake tech enhances response in the low and mid-range, while high-spec plating reduces friction, boosting power at higher RPMs. Whether you’re on a dirt track, cruising city streets, or out on long journeys fully loaded, this engine is designed for maximum versatility.
Unicam® engine design
Our Honda-exclusive Unicam® engine design, just like our Africa Twin and CRF450R, provides a compact cylinder head for optimal engine placement and superior performance. It’s the perfect combination of form and function
Vortex air intake
By speeding up intake-charge airspeed at the critical low- and mid-engine speeds from 3000 to 8000 rpm, you get better throttle response and acceleration.
Ni-SiC Cylinders
The cylinders for the Transalp are produced with Ni-SiC plating at the Kumamoto Factory in Japan. This advanced plating lowers friction and crankshaft weight, boosting power at high RPMs. The same plating technology is also used in the Fireblade, CRF450R, and F1 engines.
Dual Wave Disc Brakes with ABS
Dual-front and single-rear disc brakes provide ample stopping power. The Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) is linked to riding modes, and rear-wheel ABS can be turned off for riding in the dirt. Ride with confidence, whether you’re on paved roads or exploring unpaved paths.
Handling and Rider Dynamics
The Transalp inspires confidence on any terrain with 212mm ground clearance. Its 850mm seat height and 208kg weight make it easy to handle, while the upright riding position ensures comfort and clear visibility.
Lightweight Steel Diamond Frame
Weighing just 18.3kg, the steel diamond-style frame is lightweight yet robust, featuring a strong rear subframe to handle long-range touring loads. The aluminium swingarm, coupled with Pro-Link, ensures smooth and precise control.
Enhanced Wind Protection and Comfort
When you’re on the road all day, minimising fatigue is key. Thanks to its new central intake duct, the Transalp channels high-speed airflow around the head area, ensuring a more relaxed and comfortable highway cruise. The aerodynamic fairing and screen boost stability and reduce wind noise at speed.

Equipped with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC)D7 , Wheelie Control, ABSD9, and Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) technology, which alerts trailing road users to sudden braking.
TFT Meter with Honda RoadSyncᴰ⁵
The highly visible 5inch TFT screen is customisable and easily controlled via the 4-way toggle on the left handlebar and includes Honda RoadSyncD5 smartphone connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation and additional features.
Ambient Temperature Sensor
The new XL750 Honda Transalp features an ambient temperature sensor that helps monitor outside conditions for optimised performance and rider awareness.
High-pressure fuel injection
The engine has a high-pressure fuel injection system pressurized to 65 PSI, enhancing combustion and throttle characteristics for better throttle response in technical terrain at lower and mid-rpm ranges.
Fully Adjustable Suspension
New for 2026, both the front and rear suspension are fully adjustable for compression and rebound damping. The change lets you fine-tune your ride, and makes this great all-around bike even more versatile.
Spoked Wheels
Off-road bikes use wire wheels with traditional spokes for better performance on dirt. The 21-inch wheel on the front and the 18-inch rear wheel sizes offer a wide range of tire options for different terrain.
Long-travel front suspension
With its long-travel front suspension, the inverted Showa® SFF-CA fork provides excellent on- and off-road handling.
Pro-Link® rear suspension
Our patented rising-rate Pro-Link® rear suspension with a Showa® shock and 190.5mm of travel offer the perfect balance of good pavement handling and solid off-pavement performance.
Low CG, compact mass
By locating heavy components as close to the bike’s center of gravity as possible and using a compact engine, this bike provides a superior platform for excellent handling.
Ample Ground Clearance
With 195mm of ground clearance, it perfectly balances off-pavement capability and highway use. For hard-core dirt riding, the skid plate now comes standard.
